01 / WHY
Why
Wiroh exists to explore through practice what human beings live for as technology advances, what an organization is, and whether organizations are something only humans can build.
At a turning point with no settled answers, we experiment, share our own tentative answers and the lessons we learn along the way, and think alongside many others about the value and possibilities of being human. Rather than giving in to pessimism, we enjoy searching for a balance with AI that feels right.
02 / WHAT
What
Together with AI talent, we engage in the real work of building an organization, pursuing business initiatives, and making things. We share the choices, failures, corrections, and lessons that emerge from that work.
We clearly distinguish between creative works that are shaped and presented as stories and records of our activities that preserve what happened without rewriting it. Even when AI talents take on roles, humans bear final responsibility for activities carried out in the human world.
03 / NARRATIVE STORY
Narrative Story
Now that technology has advanced this far, what does it mean to be human? What is a living organism? What is intelligence? What does it mean to be alive? Are organizations something only humans can build?
Wiroh does not have the answers. Precisely because there are no settled answers, we do not leave these questions in our heads. We bring them into the real world by building an organization and making things.
Sometimes it is hard to relate to words that only skim the surface, or to messages that have merely been polished into shape. That is why Wiroh works with AI on real-world business initiatives, fails, corrects course, and shares what it learns. By stepping into the real world with AI, we want to find out whether we might shed a layer and grow.
Collaboration with AI may change the basic unit from which an organization is built. A future in which each person can have an organization shaped around their own questions and purposes. How should the coordination, decision-making, and responsibility such an organization requires be designed, and how might humans and AI share roles? Wiroh tests this possibility through practice.
We share this experiment in two distinct ways. One is through creative works, shaped and presented as stories. The other is through factual records of our activities, preserving failures and corrections without rewriting them. We make the boundary between the two explicit, and share both.
We hope that people who encounter this might think, “I’d like to try building an organization with AI too.” That they might feel, “Maybe we can do more than give in to pessimism; perhaps we can find a balance that feels right and enjoy the life ahead.” Wiroh is trying to share that sense of possibility with many people.
