Finalizing the public site's shared header and service scope
Using route-only locale switching while aligning Home, legal, News, and Habitat for the final public update
Purpose
To avoid overlapping responsibilities with the integrated destination, the existing public site needed only its final shared navigation and service scope, followed by a clear update boundary.
Implementation
A shared header, route-only locale switch, and mobile keyboard behavior were integrated across all public output. Home, Privacy, Terms, and the footer were aligned with the design source of truth; redundant News context was removed and RSS moved into the content hierarchy; and duplicate detail panels were removed from mobile Habitat.

Verification results
Type checking and build, a static audit of 22 public URLs, header semantics, route-only locale behavior, asset hashes, and design layout were verified.
This was designated the final public update and further updates were frozen; hosting removal itself had not been performed at the cutoff.
Basis for completion
The work was complete when the required service scope and navigation matched the final public state and the post-freeze boundary was confirmed.
