FACTUAL ACTIVITY RECORD · An activity record based on work that took place
Localizing Control Center operations into Japanese
Aligning navigation, states, buttons, and errors into clear language for administrators
Purpose
Core administration controls still mixed in English, making article states and the next required action harder for Japanese-speaking operators to understand.
Implementation
Top-level navigation, profile selection, login, overview, agents, rooms, channels, article management, services, and settings were aligned in Japanese. Article states now explain draft, awaiting review, revision needed, approved and awaiting publication, and published states, while version conflicts and restore failures use Japanese errors that identify the next action. Accessibility labels carry the same meaning.
What was confirmed
Verification results
Interface copy and state guidance were updated together in the Control Center, its design definitions, and operating documentation.
The localization was applied to the target. Full-device visual and VoiceOver verification across every screen was not recorded at the cutoff.
Basis for completion
The work was complete when primary navigation, actions, states, failures, and accessibility labels were aligned in Japanese and showed administrators what to do next.
