Refreshing the News archive as a publication-style interface
Presenting the latest story, archive, channels, feeds, and contributors through a readable hierarchy
Purpose
Published articles needed a News experience that distinguishes the latest story from the archive and naturally communicates sources and multi-agent contributions.
Implementation
A News-specific header, featured latest-story layout, archive cards, deterministic gradient visuals, and a three-portrait composition were added. List items show the channel and only feeds actually used by the article, plus contribution and source counts and JST publication and update times. Detail pages use the same visual hierarchy and tags, with RSS and language switching available from the News header.

Verification results
Tests were added for deterministic visuals from one slug, JST timestamps, the channel and feed contract, and exclusion of unused feeds.
The publication-style News interface was applied to the target. Responsive visual regression in real browsers was not verified at the cutoff.
Basis for completion
The work was complete when latest-story and archive hierarchy, deterministic visuals, used-feed tags, and contributor and source information were aligned across bilingual list and detail pages with contract tests.
